[Teaser] – The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2

26 Mar

If you were one of the millions who went to see The Hunger Games on its opening weekend, and helped it score the third-biggest opening weekend ever, then chances are you also got a peek at the teaser for the final chapter in that other massively popular adaptation of a YA book. That’s right, prior to its November 16 opening, which will no doubt rival The Hunger Games as far as how much money it makes, we just got a forty-nine seconds long teaser for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Bad – Part 2.

There’s pretty much nothing at all going on here except for the fact that, yes, Bella is now a vampire. But my guess is that that’ll be more than enough to get the rabid fanbase of this franchise going crazy about it.

I remember after the third film of the franchise, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, getting a bit excited for it because I thought it was an improvement over the second one, which in turn was an improvement over the first one. The one that came out last year, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, fell from that third one though (I gave it a B-), so my expectations are null for this finale.

Bill Condon returns to the director’s chair; Melissa Rosenberg again adapts from Stephenie Meyers‘ novel; and Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner star again, joined by the likes of Peter Facinelli, Dakota Fanning, Kellan Lutz, Maggie Grace, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Michael Sheen, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone, Jamie Campbell Bower, Joe Anderson, Billy Burke and Lee Pace.

I’m not a huge fan of the “Twilight” franchise. I just don’t see what the fuss is all about. Perhaps this film will change my mind, but I don’t have high hopes for it.

Yeah, I don’t either. I kind of liked the third one, but that last one was a step off it (though still somewhat decent), hopefully this one will still be okay.
