[Trailer] – Peace, Love & Misunderstanding

27 Apr

Peace, Love & Misunderstanding has three great actress playing three generations of women. And it now has a brand new trailer to go along with it, which you can watch after the cut.

Catherine Keener plays an uptight lawyer undergoing a divorce, who takes her two teenage kids, the female of which is played by Elizabeth Olsen, to visit their hippie grandmother, played by Jane Fonda, in Woodstock.

Look, the film doesn’t look all that great, that much is true. It doesn’t look bad either, it’s just that this seems like stuff we’ve all seen before. But the cast is pretty good, and I’m huge on Elizabeth Olsen since her breakout 2011, and this film seems worth a watch just to see Jane Fonda have fun with her role.

Directed by Bruce Beresford; written by Christina Mengert and Joseph Muszynski; starring Jane Fonda, Catherine Keener, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chace Crawford, Nat Wolff, Kyle MacLachlan and Rosanna Arquette. Peace, Love & Misunderstanding opens June 8.
